Tomato - F1 Xina

I have it. The name of the tomatoes currently in the seed starter trays is "Xina", and the seeds are available from http://www.green-seeds.com.
I will keep you posted on the performance of these new tomatoes, and as it stands, I'll be giving away a large number of seedlings in a few weeks. However, I'm not above selling a few if that should happen to be the way things work. It would defray the costs of the potting soil, seeds, fertilizer, etc., all very necessary expenditures in the quest for the "perfect" tomato variety for our tropical island.
I found some pictures of the garden at its peak orderliness. Rather sweet. I'll post them tomorrow when I have time.
So, for anybody who cares, "Xina F1", the tale begins.
Tale of the Transplants
F1 Xina - Some of the transplants are thriving while most have failed. This is more due to the odd weather we've been having. Lots of rain, too little sunshine followed by periods of too little rain and too much sunshine. This kind of wet/dry weather has taken its toll on the garden, but enough tomato plants have survived, with a fair number of cuttings from a few other (older) tomato plants are doing fine and are making up for the lack.
In fact, the cuttings are from plants that were started from cuttings, so we're continuing on a pre-existing line of tomatoes from our first planting about this time last year. Pretty darned cool yeah? I think so, certainly. :-)
What else?
The healthiest of the transplants are showing very good vigor and color, and I expect them to do very well and be quite productive.
